Creative Director (Copy)
We’re looking for Creative Directors to lead and grow some of handsome’s most exciting accounts. You’ll have an important seat at the table, driving handsome’s creative output on accounts and in our marketing presence.
What that looks like on the daily
You’ll be the Creative Director on one of our growth accounts, spanning research & strategy, product development, and campaigns and media. You’ll work closely with the team and clients to deliver award-winning work, and push the growth potential of the account with strong and smart creative.
You’ll work with a team of designers, creatives and strategists to deliver strong recommendations and sell in bold ideas across all touchpoints of a user journey or communications strategy.
Writing is your core craft – from taglines and campaigns, to brand voice guidelines, product copy, and everything in between.
You’ll contribute to the growth and culture of the agency by attracting the best talent to join you, through continuous networking.
Being a CD at handsome means coming up with compelling ways to tell handsome’s brand story across our clients, work and people.
You will own the execution of the marketing story for your account(s) building out the handsome portfolio and generating attention for our outstanding work, taking a singular story and turning it into multiple campaign touchpoints.
3+ years of relevant agency experience in a senior or director level role. You have achieved an outstanding level of excellence in campaign concepts and creative execution.
You have depth and range in all aspects of the work we do, and can skillfully lead a team of diverse disciplines with clarity, vision, and inspiration.
You live up to and exceed the work in handsome’s portfolio and love leading teams to new heights.
Strong familiarity with digital design agencies. You should already be following us and our competitors. You speak our language.
You are a leader, but also a doer. You don’t need to wait to be told what to do. You create your own deadlines and never miss them.

Your clients trust you and look to you for where they should take their brand. Your team and partners are firing on all cylinders and are inspiring you as much as you are inspiring them.
You have concrete ideas for the future of the creative output on the account, and plans for how to sell them in with your team.
You’ve already contributed to the handsome portfolio with marketing ideas, thought leadership, or social campaigns based on your work or work across the agency.
You’re creating case studies and building campaigns around your work that rival and exceed the competition.
You just get it. You understand the landscape and what it takes to deliver a brand experience that rivals our biggest competitors.
